Privacy Policy

Tip-Top Studio · Last updated 30 July 2026

The short version. Our game contains no analytics, no telemetry, no advertising and no tracking of any kind. We do not build profiles, and we never sell or share your personal data.

Your saved games stay on your own device (and, if you bought the game on a store, in that store's cloud-save system). The only personal data we handle is the account identifier your store gives us, and it is used solely to award achievements and to confirm an in-game purchase.

1. Who is responsible for your data

Tip-Top Studio ("we", "us") is the data controller for the processing described here. We are based in Spain, so this policy is written to meet the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Privacy contact: [email protected]

2. What we process, and why

What is processed depends on where you play. We only ever receive the minimum the platform hands us.

Playing the free version in your browser

No account, no sign-in, and nothing is sent to us. Your progress and settings are written to your browser's local storage on your own computer. Clearing your browser data deletes them permanently. We cannot read them and we never receive them.

Epic Games Store version

DataWhy
Epic account ID, display name, language preference, and the display names of accounts you have linked to Epic ("Basic Profile")To sign you in to Epic Online Services so achievements can be recorded against your account, and to show the game in your language
Achievement unlocksSo your achievements appear in the Epic Games launcher and on your Epic profile
Ownership of optional in-game contentTo confirm an in-game purchase and to restore it if a purchase is interrupted
Saved gamesCloud saves are handled entirely by the Epic Games launcher. The game does not upload your saves itself

Steam version

Your Steam ID and achievement unlocks are processed so achievements appear on your Steam profile. Saves sync through Steam Cloud. Purchases of optional in-game content are handled by Steam; we never see your payment details.

itch.io version

If you buy the optional in-game content on itch.io, you sign in with itch.io and a purchase-verification service we operate receives your itch.io user identifier so it can confirm the purchase and unlock the content. It is used for nothing else.

3. What we never do

4. Legal bases (GDPR Article 6)

5. Who else is involved

We rely on the store platform you chose. Each is an independent controller for the data it holds about you and each has its own privacy policy:

These companies are based outside the European Economic Area. Where data reaches them, they act as the exporter and rely on their own transfer safeguards, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. How long data is kept

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you may request access to your personal data, correction of it, its erasure, restriction of or objection to its processing, and a portable copy. You may also withdraw consent at any time.

Write to [email protected] and we will respond within one month. Because most of this data is held in your store account rather than by us, requests about achievements, saves or purchases are usually fastest through Epic, Steam or itch.io directly — we will tell you which and help where we can.

If you believe we have handled your data improperly you may complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD, www.aepd.es) or to the supervisory authority where you live.

8. Children

The game is not directed at young children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the age of digital consent in their country (13 to 16, depending on where you live). Store accounts are age-gated by the store itself. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting how your data is used will be announced on our store pages as well.
